West End Towers, Brisbane: Integrated Traffic & Waste Approach
About:
Zen Group’s ‘West End Towers’ in Brisbane’s lively West End required Modus to provide traffic engineering and waste management consulting to navigate complex design constraints and local planning requirements.
Our team utilised their deep knowledge of BCC traffic engineering requirements to prepare a Traffic Impact Assessment, swept path analysis, and waste management plan outlining the proposed strategy for securing development approval while balancing safety, efficiency, and compliance. Resulting in a successful Development Approval from Brisbane City Council
Key outcomes included:
- A custom driveway crossover design preserving existing streetscape elements.
- Safe vehicle and service bay integration for podium and basement parking.
- A compliant, space-efficient waste storage and collection arrangement for mixed-use residential and retail uses.
These solutions ensured the project met Brisbane City Council’s standards while supporting practical day-to-day operations for future occupants.
