About:
Modus was commissioned to provide assistance in obtaining development approval for a local Doggy Day Care. The approval process involved assessing access points, which Modus was able to consult on after providing a comprehensive review of the safety and operational components of the plans.
Challenges:
The key challenge for this project was the proposed access arrangements, in which Council initially were concerned with the number of access points as part of the development.
Solutions:
By undertaking a comprehensive review of any safety and operational concerns to inform mitigation measures to reduce internal and external hazards, Modus was able to justify the number of access points in which Council were accepting of Modus’ justification and detailed assessment
